During our stay over Christmas, we were pleasantly surprised by two complimentary facts offered by the hotel. The location was key, being in the heart of the city and within walking distance of major sights. The breakfast was also a great advantage, offering a variety of fresh dishes that we enjoyed.
We also experienced some negative aspects during our stay. The noise level was very high, with disturbances coming from outside the hotel throughout the night.

I recently had a fabulous stay at this hotel in the heart of a historic city. The location couldn't be better - right next to the castle and within walking distance of all the main sights. The hotel itself is full of character, with rooms that have their own private terrace, adding a special touch to the stay. The attention to detail is fantastic, from the warm reception by the owners to the homemade jams at breakfast. It's great value for money and the staff are friendly and helpful.
No improvement needed, everything was just perfect!

We stayed in a charming inn located right next to an impressive castle and right in the city center. The building was full of history but had all the necessary modern amenities, including a lovely garden where we could take a breath. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast spread was delightful with homemade jams and cheeses. We also enjoyed having air conditioning in our comfortable room, and the shower in the bathroom was great.
The Wi-Fi signal was weak in our room, but it was available in the common areas.

During my Christmas stay, I loved the traditional feel of this family-run hotel, which was housed in a historic building that is more than 100 years old. The location of the hotel, right in the heart of the city, was perfect and allowed me to easily explore all the major attractions of the area, including the castle and bazaar. I loved the spacious and comfortable rooms, which were equipped with modern amenities, making my stay enjoyable.
One issue I had during my stay was that the staff seemed to struggle with English. However, they tried their best to communicate with me and were always willing to help.

Traveling for leisure, I spent a delightful weekend at Ali Bey Konagi. The century-old mansion's central location near Gaziantep Castle couldn't have been better. Our room, with its private terrace, offered a lovely view of the quiet courtyard. The complimentary water and friendly staff were definite pluses. The delicious breakfast and ample courtyard space for relaxing were also highlights. As a goodbye gift, we received a nicely packed soup. If ever back in Gaziantep, I will definitely choose to stay at Ali Bey Konagi again.
